About The Training
Join us for an introductory level training designed to teach clinicians the basics of talking about sex and intimacy with clients. This training provides the foundational knowledge necessary to work with clients on issues related to sex, intimacy after sexual trauma, sexual identity and gender identity. Topics include pleasure inclusivity, queer sex and identities, non-monogamy and kink. Through group discussion and peer exchange, participants will receive the practical skills needed to navigate professional boundaries and encourage authentic conversations about clients' sexual questions and concerns.
About The Presenter
Erica Hungerford, MS, has been supporting survivors in navigating sexual health and trauma response since 2014. She completed her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021 and is completing additional coursework to become a certified sex therapist. In that role, she carried an active caseload of trauma therapy clients as well as ran survivor support groups including Resilience's first-ever Intimacy After Assault group; the most well-attended group to date!
