URGENT: Action Needed to Protect Survivors’ Services!

The White House has directed federal agencies to pause federal funding starting TODAY, January 28, at 5 PM EST. This temporary freeze could be devastating for organizations like Resilience, who rely heavily on federal funds to serve sexual assault survivors.

Resilience relies on federal funding for over $1.2 million of our $3.2 million budget.

Without these funds, critical services such as trauma therapy, legal advocacy, and crisis intervention for 1,400+ survivors are at risk. Any freeze or delay will have a direct and harmful impact on survivors—we cannot afford to stop or delay our life-saving services.

What can you do RIGHT NOW?

  • CALL Senators Dick Durbin & Tammy Duckworth and your congressional representative.
  • Urge them to ensure that already appropriated funds are allowed to be spent as originally planned.
